SHARE QUIET MOMENTS
By The Marriage & Family Clinic
In marriage or any long-term relationship, silence should feel natural.
Instead of being scared of running out of things to say, it’s important to embrace the quieter moments. There’s a level of peace and contentment that comes with being able to just be with someone.
This week: find some time to share a quiet moment together. It can be as easy as sitting next to each other as you read a book or have a drink. Or you can be more intentional and go out for a walk or hike and find a place to be still and quiet together while taking in the beauty around you and feeling the love and safety of your spouse.
Life is noisy!
Just like you need quiet moments for self-care, your marriage will benefit by enjoying quiet moments together, when you block out all the noise and just be.
