See every obstacle as an opportunity

SEE EVERY OBSTACLE AS AN OPPORTUNITY
Chris E. Kwakpovwe

Mr. Olugbade Babatunde, a London-based Nigerian accountant, screamed in an interview recently: “It is easy to become a millionaire in Nigeria. I believe Nigeria is full of opportunities. Our people don’t see the opportunities. They only see problems!

When you look at a problem, you can either see it as a problem or you see it as an opportunity. Where you have problems is where you have opportunities. Where you have no problems, there are no opportunities. Remember that David saw Goliath (a problem) as an opportunity (setup) to glorify his God, while King Saul and the soldiers of Israel saw Goliath as an obstacle and a setback!

As 2016 ends, the way you see a test will determine whether you get a testimony or a tear from it! S.I. Makinwa said: “Challenges are things that serve as a ladder to link you to where you are going.” Were there no giants in the Promised Land? The fact that there are problems shows that you are about to hit a promise!

Do you know that America is the greatest country but it has the greatest murder rate in the world? Don’t forget the Dallas shooting of five policemen in July 2016. Incidentally the founding fathers of the USA only saw the opportunities (the milk and honey) and not the giants (problems). As 2016 ends, determine to live such a life!

Thomas Edison said: “OPPORTUNITY IS MISSED BY MOST PEOPLE BECAUSE IT IS DRESSED IN VARIOUS OVERALLS AND LOOKS LIKE PROBLEMS.”

Reginald Mansel also affirms: “A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities; an optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties.” Be an optimist! Never believe anything is impossible! No problem is everlasting! The greater the disgrace facing you, the greater the grace heaven will release! Trust God!

Out of any test, there is a testimony coming! Just as every lock comes with a key, so does every battle come with a solution! I see great glory ahead concerning your destiny! Hold on!
