By READ THAT LETTER CAREFULLY

Yesterday’s devotional story ended thus: “She made efforts to give him a kiss again, but to her surprise, the husband pushed her away…” We continue now with this great story.
The husband went on, “Why haven’t you done any of the things I instructed you to do in that letter?”
The man went inside and came out again quickly with an already packed suitcase. He headed straight for the door and said to his wife, “See you in seven days.”
The woman stood there confused but before she could utter a word the door had slammed behind him. She went back to the dining table to take a second look at the letter. It read: “My beautiful wife, my company has asked four colleagues and myself to go on a seven-day trip to Dubai for a training program. They said that we can bring along our wives and I thought this will be the best opportunity
for us to have the honeymoon we never did after we got married. I have already packed a suitcase for myself, so please pack yours. Our flight leaves at exactly 7pm so I will be home at 6 o’clock for us to go to the airport. No need to cook dinner since there will be food on the plane. Please be ready before I get back so we don’t miss the flight. I love you with all my heart.”
What a great letter, but what an unwise woman! She forgot that instructions minus obedience provoke destruction. The passion of love for her husband could never replace the power of obedience to that husband! Indeed zeal without knowledge can take you to your zero hour of shame.
Many believers are like this woman. They love the Lord. They love His Word. They love church activities. Sadly, however, they do not know what the instructions in THE BOOK (The Bible) are. They are too lazy to search out these instructions. But hear this from Rick Warren: God’s Word is your owner’s manual for life. It contains principles for health, finance, marriage, other relationships, business, and much more. So if you miss the instructions in the Word of God you will fail in some areas of life’s battles because ALL that you will ever need to succeed on this planet is already written in THE BOOK.
The weakness of many believers is not lack of prayers but lack of the knowledge of the instructions. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
Create time to search for the PROMISES (knowledge) concerning various areas of your life’s battles. When you trust God to fulfill the promises He is giving you, then all the forces of darkness cannot stop your MANIFESTATION.
Diligently pursue instructions. You will need them to move from disgrace to higher grace. Force your flesh to do that daily!
